People's overall attitudes towards gardens may shift short term, but it's too soon to say what the trend will be in the future. At this time last year it was well nigh impossible to buy a tomato seed!Personally, I can see a lot of sense in achieving a work/life balance and better mental health through a garden and growing a certain amount of fruit and veg, without becoming a slave to it.There are those out there right now who suggest this is a hopelessly ambitious pipe dream, especially as we'll soon be living in high density cities eating more GM food and things like 3D printed meat substitute. If that's the case, I won't be joining them and I wonder who would, unless they have had other options removed.2
