We had to raise our deposit and submit a new application due to my husband having something adverse on his credit report. (A few late payments due to covid and a high balance on credit card). AIP accepted and application submitted on 22/11/2021, not heard anything since.0

Hi, here is my mortgage timeline which I applied by myself online (80%LTV, new build):
10 Nov 2021 - Application submitted online
21 Nov 2021 - hard search on Experian
21 Nov 2021 - Manual referral showing on online account
22 Nov 2021 - builder told me valuation complete
22 Nov 2021 - got an email asked more documents (resident permit & bank statement showing deposit saving)
29 Nov 2021 - Manual referral showing on online account
30 Nov 2021- mortgage approved text received and offer letter could be downloaded online
20 days in total which is not too bad. There was no update in the first ten days which was really suffering.0 -
Mortgage application submitted 18/11
House valuation 29/11 satisfied 02/12
and only today they are asking for full credit report after four weeks. It’s pretty poor l think.Their service levels state 11 not in my experience.
how long likely be with underwriter??0 -
Our underwriter is being a pain, they keep asking for more supporting documents. Considering our first application was the beginning of November its been such a headache. We now need to provide bank statements for Nov (didn't have these when we initially applied), our broker says we are 98% there. Getting very fed up now, especially as we are getting pressure from the agent.0

Am starting to get fed up with the whole process to, exactly same for me with estate agents asking if had updates, the vendor must be wondering why it’s taking so long to.
That is a really long time beginning November, l just want a decision either way so can plan what to do.What extra supporting docs?? Have they asked for from you did you get asked for full credit report0 -

They wanted another set of accounts from one of my directorships (they weren't due but thankfully had been prepared so didn't take too long to get them completed), then they came back asking for bank statements for November for both me and my husband (which we didn't have when we submitted the application originally as it was submitted at the beginning of November).
We just want to get the moving date so we can start arranging everything but it's all being held up with this application.
