The credit score isn't seen, so it doesn't matter.

I’ve heard that but then also heard anything with less than a good score may cause you to fail, so much confusing info

Any good score will be generated against their criteria, not the pretend one you see.

Yeah I thought that too but then everyone seems to say different. Seen a few posts from people asking similar about defaults but never seem to find the outcome, be good to hear if they passed ok

That's true, but then there's a lot of people who believe in the Loch Ness monster and listen to Justin Bieber.

:D I think it’s because they changed the checks last year from viewing public info only to stating they access your full report as in what you can see which suggests they would see your score, made up as it may be.

They may be able to see your full report, but still never the score.

Even real lenders wouldn't want to see that.

Ah well hopefully it should be ok then, the defaults just worry me as really want the place. Hoping as it only mentioned ccjs etc on the form that defaults should not be an issue otherwise these would have been mentioned, can only hope  :)
  • @jenn229911 I know its an old thread be it wondering if you see this if you can share how you got on. We're going through checks with them now and altho no missed payments or defaults we have a loan and credit card and wondering how this affects passing.
