Is a magistrates court the same as a county court?Nope, wrong one. You could always write 'my nearest County court' and let the CCBC work it out.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,
I have received a letter from Gladstones solicitors saying that they have "enclosed a copy of the Claimants completed DQ, which has also been filed with court". When I had a look the DQ it is just a blank form with nothing filled out. Can I use this as ammunition for my case or is this nothing of note?
Ive emailed my DQ to "enquiries@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk" <enquiries@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk> and "CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk" <CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk>
I have also received my SAR from PCM.
I guess its just a waiting game now...
Thanks!1 -
It's nothing of note , file it
Nope , you check the MCOL claim history weekly
Once they allocate it to your nominated local court , you wait for them but work on your WS plus Exhibits
No need to guess , it's all detailed in the second post of the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum3 -
Hi all,
I was wondering if i've missed any key dates. Can someone let me know if the MCOL webpage will update me with what do next? I've entered what the MCOL webpage is currently showing. Please let me know. Thanks!
"Claim HistoryDQ filed by claimant on 1*/04/2021
You filed a DQ on 0*/05/2021
Your claim was transferred to ROMFORD on 0*/05/2021Status Summary
Please read this page carefully. From here you can decide what action you wish to take next.If you do nothing, judgment may be entered against you."

That's it for MCOL. Next communication will be from Romford.

Will Romford be sending me a letter or will they be communicating with me through email or phone? I'm worried I will miss the letter being posted since I have had problems with post in my area in the past, especially at my current address.0

Normally by post at your address as registered with the CCBC/Romford.1

It will certainly be by post.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't be surprised if it takes two weeks or more. Time to prep your ws.

Hi all,
I've messed up big time. My court hearing is very soon and I haven't sent my witness statement. Am I able to go to court without a witness statement? Or am I able to send a witness statement via email even if it is the day before?I also recieved an email from Gladstones saying this"We act for the Claimant. The Claimant, without intending any discourtesy, hereby gives notice that it will not be attending the final hearing. This notice is given pursuant to CPR 27.9.The Claimant kindly requests its attendance be excused and that the claim be decided in its absence. The Claimant has filed and served documents pursuant to the Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing) and the Court have been notified of the Claimant’s non-attendance and that the Court has been asked to deal with the Claim in the Claimant’s absence."I also received a letter stating this as well. I'll be honest. I was hoping that they wouldn't turn up as I've read in alot of forums that this tends to happen.
I've messed up big time. I already know this. Anything I can do?
Thanks a bunch0
