Me and my Mrs have just talked about TV license. 

It turns out that both of us have been paying TV license by direct debit at the same address for around 13 years !!!!

Has anyone got experience in claiming a refund from them?

Not a wind up. I check everything regularly but TV license is sort of insignificant and paid quarterly. Slipped the net...
