Barclays mortgage process

Hello,

I'm going through Barclays with a broker (Yourmortgage people I found via Haysto) First time buyers,
24th (August) Initial checks done on credit etc...
Processor submitted applications on 1st September, been a couple of weeks of queries and extra stuff needed.
Last week (23rd) the ID team wanted extra ID for me. Thats been certified now and sent so Sitting waiting,
so hoping the approved offer is imminent as really really stressed with the waiting now....

I think that its gone through and out of the Underwriters and its the ID team that wanted extra bits?
Anyone else had that and how long till offer after?

Yes.  I did.
Was waiting 5 weeks,  stuck with  the ID Team.  Turned out one doc said Ms and another said Miss so it sat in someone's intray for weeks.


Only when my MB started to kick up a stink did things get moving.  Had offer 2 days later.
