o2 terms and conds for charging 0870/0845

I know a while back O2 changed its T&C's for charging 0845/0870. However I thought nothing of it, because I dont recall being notified about these charges so I always assumed (wrongly) they wouldnt be charging me as I am on one of their old retention tarriffs.

Now I have checked my monthly bill and they have been charging me for at least a month - it all adds up to a pretty hefty bill as I do make a lot of calls to 0845/0870 numbers.

Is there still time to get out of the contract or maybe ask O2 to refund me the extra they charged me? I did a search but couldnt find the old O2 thread which discussed this issue :(

Thanks all in advance.
