    I pay:
Gas and electric monthly x 12 months
Council tax, incl water, monthly x 10 months
Home / car insurance / car tax annually

Quarterly was a 'thing' when I was a lot younger, now you have so many options available.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

We pay everything monthly except those things that charge a premium for doing so. The car tax, insurances and TVL are annual.

My power co. only sends a formal bill every three months, but I pay monthly.

Moving into a flat for the first time soon and out of interest, which bills are paid every 3 months?
Are the main ones water, gas and electricity?
If I prefer to pay monthly, is it possible to switch to monthly bills?
Most providers let you choose to pay monthly, and most allow you to choose a day that's convenient to you
The only "weird" one is council tax which is often restricted to certain days of the month (e.g. the 1st, 7th, 15th or 22nd of the month in my council), and you can opt to pay over 10 months or 12 months.
