Which bills are paid quarterly?

Moving into a flat for the first time soon and out of interest, which bills are paid every 3 months?
Are the main ones water, gas and electricity?
If I prefer to pay monthly, is it possible to switch to monthly bills?

I don't have any that are paid quarterly. All monthly except Council Tax, which is over 10 months but should probably change to monthly....but only because I'm not a fan of paying too much in advance.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

You can choose from various options usually.
We pay water on a 6 monthly DD and our gas/elec quarterly DD as I can review the bill and check the readings before it comes out. You can pay monthly or quarterly by DD or on receipt of statements.
TV licence is monthly, quarterly or annual.
Insurances usually monthly or annual.
Council tax monthly or annually but I guess quarterly in advance if chosen.0 -

Water 6monthly, Council tax over 10months (with the 1st payment slightly more than the others), everything else monthly unless cheaper to chose annually (i.e. insurance)

I don’t think I’ve ever paid a bill quarterly. Everything is monthly except car and home insurances, VED (all of which are cheaper annually) and council tax is over 10 months because I’m too lazy to ring them up and tell them to change it.0

These days most bills can be paid how it suits you.0

My utilities are still Quarterly charge.
You get the option to run an account with a monthly payment "for your convenience" which we do, they take the quarterly charges from that
