    Are you sure about 'done'? I think 'certified' is sufficient. at least in practice.

    All this talk about wiring in cooker sockets etc.. would it not be easier to just pop the wire straight through the wall (13amp flex) and pop a plug on the other end to plug into an existing internal socket? Easy to isolate then and potentially less messing about.
    Things that are free in life are great, well most of the time :beer:

    You can buy outdoor socket wiring kits from most diy sheds, these come with a plug in rcd, you put the socket where you want it and run the wiring to a convenient socket and plug in, that gets around and need for having any professional install and certification

    That's why you have to tack more and more bits onto existing circuits.  If it's not a new circuit, it's not notifiable!

    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
