Can i ask the members for help /information. I own an I Phone 6S which i was given second hand by my granddaughter when she got a new one ,anyway it works ok and does everything i need but recently i seemed to be charging it up too often . I use it for facebook ,whatsApp ,google etc , do not play any games on it.
I thought the battery was maybe coming to the end of its life and as our local phone shop is closed due to covid shut down i purchased a new battery from Amazon and managed to fit it successfully ( bear in mind i am over70 ) the battery is a 2200mAh and is supposed to be 28% higher capacity than original.
I know its like "how long is a piece of string question " but how often do others have to charge their mobile phones , i know we are stuck in the house more but my phone  always had some life in it when i woke up in the morning but now it is flat and shutting off.I might be worried over nothing but any help will be appreciated.

Galaxy M31s 9 hours of calls a few texts a a little web browsing and it only dropped to 48%, charged
the previous night but had little use that day.   Amazed at how little it needs charging.

3 hours of calls and 40 minutes emails/news app 36 hours after charging it shows 1d 17h left.

Did you go through battery health check in settings before you changed the battery to see what the maximum capacity was and what is it saying now with the new battery?

Sometimes apps can be a battery hog and when deleted and reinstalled it can clear up issues.

Simplest thing is to charge it over night.  If you've going to be out and about (not likely at the moment) you can get portable power packs that hold enough energy to recharge a mobile phone a few times.

Variable depends upon battery age and usage  over or under 70 makes no difference .
