CCJ from Excel - trying to clear it.

BW legal have passed it back to Excel. Excel are not answering the phone, nor the given email. I've not written. So I cant physically pay it. I was wondering if anyone else had that problem and what they did.
The initial contravention was July 2012. I was actually on holiday at the time, living in a shared house. I ignored all the letters (bad advice). I then heard nothing until I received the CCJ claim form dated 7 Jun 2017. I contacted BW legal immediately and asked for all information pertaining to the case under the data protection act, explaining why. I received a letter from them dated 7 July 2017 saying the matter was now on hold, but then was notified that a judgement for claimant was made on 29 June 2017.
I didnt receive any of the relevant documents.
I remember calling the court but can't remember what the conversation entailed, and clearly didnt fill in the claim for for some reason.
