Your funded energy solution

I've heard of them for the first time tonight, found via an ad on Instagram. I'm in Cornwall, have only electric heating in my house (no mains gas here, or central heating plumbing). 6 electric radiators and a Mira electric shower, instant electric Stiebel hot water heater.
There's just me living in my 2 bedroom house, I do not qualify for any benefits. My annual usage is 7800kWh on Pureplanet 100% Green Tariff. My forecast annual energy cost is £1400. Edit: House is Energy Rating F (potential for D with recommended improvements). I've already had LED lighting fitted throughout when I was previously with Utility Warehouse.
Your funded energy solution are claiming they can arrange an installation of an LPG central heating system with instant hot water boiler. The funding looks like it is through the ECO Flex system. But aren't we (the UK) trying to get away from fossil fuels and more into green energy, air source & ground source etc? Why would the Flex funds be footing the bill for gas? Am I just too suspicious and shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth?
Any practical advice or experiences welcome.

Clearly an area I need to explore more here, I've been going along reasonably content with my bills and unaware that I might be qualify to get grants.
