    Hi All,
Thanks for the posts on this thread. I too am awaiting a decision from Aldermore.
I have been told it is being assessed. The DIP was agreed/passed 10 days ago or so.

I can see from my Experian report that Aldermore have run three checks. An ID one, A Mortgage quotation one and a First Mortgage one.

These were all searched/run on 22nd April. How long after your searches were run did you receive news whether you have been accepted for a mortgage or not?

    Thanks
    James
Hi James. My searches (although duplicated!) were done on April 22nd too. My broker said it’s likely to be about 15 days before a decision but I guess that depends if they have questions or need more docs etc

Will post on here any developments or updates as will be interesting re timelines from that date.
    Excellent, thank you. Good luck

@JMcc123 @Brucema07 how long do your offers have? Mine is only 2 months! I thought it was 6 😳
Ours in valid until 22nd June, didn't even think there would be a deadline on the mortgage offer actually! We're hopeful that we will be in by May 24th so I'm praying nothing goes wrong!

Must be their standard time limit then. Oh I'm already doing that, there's a little voice in my head that's going what if you exchange and it goes wrong and you lose 20k 😭🤣 honestly I suffer from anxiety as standard but this buying a house thing is something else entirely 🤣🤣🤣

It's horrible isn't it! But i truly belive the worst part is over!
@Brucema07 18th is so soon! I'm bouncing off the walls with excitement thinking we should be moved next month 🤗🤗🤗

We've come home for the weekend (where we're moving back to) and I am SO ready for us to be back here, my little boy is just so happy to be around family!

2nd viewing at 4! I cannot control my excitement! X

Ah I hope your little boy likes it! I'm going to start pushing my solicitor for a completion date, we've had conveyancing happening since Feb so it shouldn't be unrealistic to aim for next month. The tracking says all searches are back but she's saying one is outstanding and due back 18th May. She's apparently going to review our mortgage offer and get back to us so I'm assuming maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. Enquiries have been sent to the seller so hoping they won't hang around!

He loved it! He fell down the stairs to the attic though, on his bottom, a bruised bum but a happy boy! Actually so strange though as it felt a lot smaller, there was a lot of stuff, like two two people living their are working from home and there's desks there now, whereas there weren't before 🤷‍♀️ before it was a sofa and snuggle chair  but now it's a corner sofa.. very odd! And made my head go a bit as the layout was so different! Even so far as the garden furniture! I guess they clear stuff before people view for the first time so it's more of a blank canvas?

Yeah I would chase, as you say they've had everything apart from the agreement for months now. I'm chasing again on Wednesday! X

My email Friday hasn't been answered yet so I'll give her til Wednesday. She might need Tuesday to chase up the sellers solicitor to see if my suggestion is feasible. Ah bless him, glad he liked it though! Can't wait to see ours again x

This is my plan also if we get our offer!😁 I’m worried I will walk in and see it through different eyes and not like it! God I hope not.🤣 Not after all this worry!🙈
On first viewing the vendors ex girlfriend was there and I didn’t feel comfortable nosing around their home properly - especially after the EA whispered upstairs to us the sale was due to separation and she was having to find rented accommodation as it was his property, thus no chain.🙈
I hope you both get your conveyancing sorted soon - I can’t wait to be where you guys are!🎉🎉

Yes fingers crossed. Having some struggles with our valuation! They keep contacting us and not the Estate Agent/Vendor.
I've spent most of the weekend trying to direct traffic on it!!!
Out of interest how long did people wait from valuation to offer?
