Sofa won't fit

How much bigger is it than your existing sofa? Have actually taken a tape measure to check the dimensions against your window?0

Just had the reverse of this - couldn't get the sofa out ! It was second hand when we got it from a charity shop over 10 years ago - spring now out of the bottom and the top - and was being scrapped anyway so we cut it into pieces.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1

Thanks for the replies. Not really sure how to measure the window/sofa - I assume it would go through on an angle but one of the drivers didn't think it would, Glass is 103x82cm, sofa is 92x89x212cm
They have told me there would be another delivery charge for bringing it back out - asked if they would deliver it to a charity shop free of charge, I am waiting for a call back on this - I just can't cope with this at the moment - lot of other things going on. At least somebody would get something out of it if I donate it0 -
check the size of the charity shop door first...... !1

They have no evidence it would not fit except some idiot who decided that was the case.1

This isn't going to help but will hopefully give you a laugh. In our last house we had ordered a new unit that was to go into the family room. The delivery men arrived looked at the door, looked at the unit, looked at the door, looked at the unit, measured the door, measured the unit, looked at the door again. The younger lad then looked at the door at the end of the hall and how they were going to have to take it through 90 degrees to get it into the family room - he had his tape out again and was measuring the space, then measuring the unit, then checking and double checking. He said something to the older chap who got out his tape measure before saying that he didn't think they would be able to get it around the corner.
My good lady then came in nonchalantly and I explained that they didn't think they would be able to get it down the hall and into the family room. At which point she asked 'could you not bring it in through the patio doors' (a big double door opening leading directly into the family room and there was easy access to the back garden). She has never let me live that one down.I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0
