Hello, I need some help drafting the witness statement. I have been going through the various posts here but it is slightly uncertain which is the best template to make use of. I am told the hearing is dated 15 November and the claimant has not yet provided any response to my friend's email asking them their legal authority for the additional amounts. Any help re the starting point is highly appreciated.

One of the recent suggestions for witness statements was that used by @jrhys and there is another one but I will have to search for it.  Make sure you only use it as a style and format example as the content will differ from yours depending upon your defence.  You could also check here 12 September at 8:54PM and here 6 July at 3:55PM <<<LINKS

    Well guess what!
My friend got a letter in post this noon from QDR enclosing a notice of discontinuance. The letter also stated that a copy of the notice has been filed in court, the hearing is vacated and that QDR and their client NCP have closed all of their files on this matter!!!

This is a HUGE win for my friend thanks to the amazing support and information put out there by you guys as a team! Cant thank you'll enough.

Could you please let me know whether my friend needs to do anything more with regards to administrative formalities that they may not be aware of please?

NFA required   However, the PPC has wasted your friend's time.  I suggest that he now wastes some of theirs.  Post this link to him/her.

Hi @D_P_Dance when you say NFA required, do you mean a letter stating "no further action"? If so, is that from the claimant or their representative?

What @D_P_Dance means is that it is over, your friend WON, no further action is required on his/her part.  The second part of the answer is a link to citizens advice where you will be shown how to make a small claim against the parking company for having wasted your friend's time.

I mean no further action, writing a letter constitutes further action.
