Android Google play services message

Hi
My partners Samsung keeps popping up window message Google play services keeps stopping and gives me option to close app or send feedback. It keeps popping up whatever I try doing on phone so restricts doing anything. How do I stop it please I have looked at google which was no help?

    Possibly Google Play Services needs updating.
    (Which is done through the play store)

    Hi I have tried looking for update but message keeps forcing me to close app. I have disabled now and trying to install factory version not sure if it will though?  Any more ideas please

    Tried uninstall app it won't let me and tried force stop on playstore nothing changed .Help

    Is their an update for the phones/software/ firmware in settins .
    If not backup any required data and factory reset.

    If you hold the power key and press the power off icon it should give a safe mode option, you might be able to update easier this way

    I've had something similar on a Hudl 2 tablet. Google apps warning pop-up every few seconds

    On that, I went through menu Settings > Apps > All,  scrolled to Google Play Services, and deleted all the application data. This then rebuilt itself on update and the problem cleared. Advice to try this came from Google, not Tesco.

    I can't say this will fix it on a different device, but it might be worth considering or searching to see if there is similar advice floating around.
