2014 Bovis House, avoid?

You may be right - the map may be very wrong but unless it's corrected during the OP's residence, they may have trouble selling. When I was looking in 2019, I spotted a "perfect" house priced about 10% under what I would have expected. I looked at the map which suggested a medium risk of becoming a tiny island from time to time which put me off. It's been on and off the market at the same cheap price for over a year. I think it's getting SSTC and then when the searches come in, people/lenders back out :-(RelievedSheff said:
I work in the industry and know those maps are far from accurate. Our old house was at the top of a hill yet allegedly had a surface water flood route through the middle of it.peterhjohnson said:Knowing Evesham, I looked at the flood risk. Swim away - fast!

Needless to say in the 12 years we were there we never had a problem.
This house we are in now allegedly gas now surface water flood problems, yet when we get really heavy rain we have a smal stream runs through our back garden!(My username is not related to my real name)0
