Britannia Parking PCN Help.

Hi,
So we went into St John's road carpark in Harborne Birmingham on 20/02/21 not taking notice that it was now ANPR controlled, previously a pay and display only.
Stayed in the car while other half nipped to the shops quickly to get some vital supplies. The intent was, while sat in it there will be no need to buy a ticket.
We received a PCN for £60 going up to £100 if not paid after 14 days for non payment for a duration of 20 minutes stay on 25/02/21
I read the newbies thread again, having successfully used templates from there to have others cancelled.
Britannia Parking rejected my appeal on 10/03/21 from the standard template and have given me the POPLA code. The NTK looked to have followed POFA 2012 regulations.
On receiving the rejected appeal I complained in an email to the land owners Bulleys Chartered Surveyors of Wolverhampton ( specific person's details were given to me aftyer phoning) but have not received any response yet.
I am preparing the POPLA appeal and have started reading up on the various points.
Is there anything to take particular note of with regards to this company?
Thanks.

The intent was, while sat in it there will be no need to buy a ticket. What gave you the idea that this was OK? You need to come up with the usual counters to go to POPLA and the standard points are all in the NEWBIE sticky third post.1

To be honest, I think it was a mistake but I have done that in warden patrolled carparks and have even be seen by a few a couple of times.
I am gathering what I need from the sticky you highlighted, just thought there could something specific to this company.

It was a mistake , the driver was a lamb to the slaughter in this modern age of camera's everywhere !!
The Britannia name is often incorrect , where the signs and paperwork show different companies , so carefully compare every instance and company number. Read other Britannia threads where Umkomaas has gone into great detail about this lapse by the multiple named Britannia1 -
Check the Britannia 'brand' as they have various company names (different legal entities, there's only one entity with which you can contract). Check the full entity name, (don't just see 'Britannia' and assume they're essentially all the same, legally they are not], on the signs on site, the NtK, any other documentation you might get from Britannia, the entity shown on any Letter of Claim from their solicitors and the same on any court claim.ZINXYX said:

I am gathering what I need from the sticky you highlighted, just thought there could something specific to this company. The latter elements are only relevant should this get to a court stage, but they are to give you a general heads up in terms of you understanding issues with Brit that rarely pertain in other PPC cases. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

As said above. See this link

Each one is a separate entity ... what does this mean ?
The parking ticket must be the same entity as shown on the signs and a contract signed with the landowner must be the same entity name as both the ticket and signs
You have some detective work to do

He's the one after your money, what sort of response are you expecting from him? CEO complaints are made to the head honcho of the landowner/retailer, not the bleedin' PPC!ZINXYX said:
