Recently agreed a deal with Sky on the phone as my package was due for renewal, price agreed was £54 per month, charged £80 this month and £68 for subsequent months, rang Sky who basically said they can do nothing about it, rather peeved to say the least, any advice gratefully received

How long ago is "recently"? What were you going to be paying £54 for?

I agreed the deal on 1st February this year, had sky entertainment which is now signature, basically what I had before talk anytime, superfast broadband, asked the guy what I would be paying, £54 he said, now saying basically it is what it is and like it or lump it0

You have evidence of this price ??

As above, if you have evidence of the price promised they are more likely to work something out with you. If it was a verbal conversation, you dont have anything to go on unfortunatley.
