Three increase Mid Contract (above inflation)
Three have just txt to say a contract I have only had for 2 months is going to increase by 4.5%. That’s a fair old hike considering how short a period I have had the current contract.
from a quick search I am led to believe they can only make inflationary rises mid contract. Being current inflation and rpi are not even close to this I have to wonder what three are playing at.
Has something changed and they can do what they want now or can I somehow block them from making this rise?
many thanks

Ok looks like I am stuffed.
Thought mid contract had to be inflationary only but seems it’s not the case.
Will vote with feet next time as 4.5% 2months in to a contract is a load or borrocks.0 -
Its in the T&Cs you signed up to. Almost all networks are doing it now so I don't expect you'll find cheaper.
But what I have noticed is despite the increases I'm better off compared to a new contract. Currently paying £9.24 for 8GB (although will go up at end of the month) but new contract is £10 for 8GB.

Its like the phone companies want to make a profit or something silly like that.I was with LIFE mobile £6 pm 30 day rolling contract, Plusnet took them over and I paid that for quite a few years. Then they sent that we are increasing the plan price letter, a whopping £6.30 how dare they. They also listed some of their current offers which had more minutes and more data for £6 a month with thesame 30 day rolling, so i switched. Do they want to make money or not?At least its not Vodafone increasing the price and then a few months later rounding it upto the nearest 50p afew months later to make billing easier. How does that make it easier?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
