(Thanks, however according to vax they only supply the complete head unit)
You said they do not supply parts , is that not a part . Or do you mean they supply parts but not the one you want .In which case try Ebay .

I did not consider a complete head to be a part. at the price of it its almost a new cleaner. We'll probably just burn it out and buy a complete one. I have looked on ebay but noting on there that is certain to work on the model I have.

Similar to when my father wanted to replace a headlight bulb but could only buy a complete light- not a bulb.
My neighbours windmill stopped working the company advised they could buy only the part needed . He needed to wait for a new one to come into stock and they would take the part off it for him.

  • If bearings have been diagnosed, can you not measure and replace those?

I've no idea to be truthfull. I didn't know that small electricmotors could have their bearings changed.  I'll look into it, but whether these tiny chinese bearings are supplied loose is another matter. Thanks.

Had similar problem with the bearing in the "foot" unit. Again Vax do not supply bearings. According to local repair shops, Vax are particularly difficult to get small parts out of.
