I didn't arrange a pre-exchange visit because of lockdown, but wish I had, lots of things here I hadn't noticed.  My first viewing was about ten minutes and I did notice the windows had locks, and assumed I'd get the keys.    I don't feel 100% safe here as it's a bungalow.  Apparently previous owner didn't pass them on to her, so I'm going to have to source some from somewhere.

Window keys are standard. You can buy them on eBay

I wish I'd counted how many of the 23 downstairs bulbs (7 in the living room, 16 in the kitchen) weren't actually working. That's not including the one blown bulb in the oven... .or the ones outside...

How close the neighbours have placed their kids trampoline to your fence. Not much fun to have little faces gawping at you every other second for the whole summer!
tbh the presence of a trampoline in either of our immediate neighbours' gardens would have been a deal breaker.

Being able to see the neighbours garden, never mind a trampoline, would have been a no from us.

Why is the trampoline a deal-breaker? I've never lived next to one, I don't get it

Neighbours both sides of our current house have trampolines. When both sets of kids are on them, there's no let up from the squeak of the side springs. I don't mind the yelps and screams of enjoyment from the kids, but those flippin' springs are a pain!

Some people don't like to listen to next doors kids and see them over the fence while they are relaxing in their own garden!!
