Who do you think is tracking your movements to know whether you exercised more than once a day?
I have done a 3 mile walk, from home, in the morning, and then a four-mile round trip walk to the shops in the afternoon to do some food shopping. Both are exercise. Pretty sure no-one is tracking me.
As others have said, as long as you are not driving miles from home to start your exercise, and are following the rules when actually exercising, e.g. not running as a three or four, I do not see any issue with multiple outdoor exercise each day.
The guidance has always been though to start it from home.1 -
The law does not say "once a day":
Exception 1: leaving home necessary for certain purposes
(2) Exception 1 is that it is reasonably necessary for the person concerned (“P”) to leave or be outside the place where P is living (“P’s home”)—
(a)to buy goods or obtain services from any business or service listed in paragraph 17, for—
(i)P or for those in the same household,
(ii)vulnerable persons or persons who have a disability, or
(iii)persons in the same household as a vulnerable person or a person who has a disability;
(b)to obtain money from or deposit money with any business listed in paragraph 17(k) or (l) of this Schedule;
(c)to take exercise outside—
(i)alone,
(ii)with—
(aa)one or more members of their household, their linked household, or
(bb)where exercise is being taken as part of providing informal childcare for a child aged 13 or under, one or more members of their linked childcare household, or
(iii)in a public outdoor place, with one other person who is not a member of their household, their linked household or their linked childcare household,

Yes, I realise it sounds ridiculous (and possibly paranoid), but colleagues have been hassled for breaking guidance so I need to be scrupulous. I'm not stressed about it at all, just wanted to know if anyone knew the latest guidance as that particular change hasn't been publicised, and there are a lot of outdated articles out there (as this thread illustrates).
The other advantage of being allowed more than one exercise trip per day is that a slow walk with my mum doesn't now use up my allowance!0 -

you are doing the right thing by not taking a risk of being pulled up and this may then negatively impacting on your work status.
If and when you find out, let us know as well.

If and when you find out, let us know as well.The only link you posted was to a 3 week old article that referred to exercising once per day.As explained by other posters in later posts, the 'once a day' has now been removed from GOV.UK.The OP now seems to be clear on what is allowed regarding exercise:Webxite said:Perfect - that's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you. Lots of inaccurate, and non-updated stuff out there. For me that change is very clear.0 -

Definitely no longer applicable in Wales. We can take as much exercise as we wish.0
