15th April is the end date no other  .
BT swap to another ISP who handle the cancellation .
14 days beforehand is about the right time frame.
  • Don't touch Shell, I asked them via twitter if a letter sent to them and signed for had made any progress such as being asigned to an employee. They where told the full recorded delivery numberthen 3 days ago. They refused to answer, even when the content of the letter was not being mentioned.

In fairness those who monitor the Twitter often don't have access to billing details, they're just "do this, that and the other first, and then call us" type of respondents.  They probably don't even know you sent a letter at all.

Read what I wrote again.  Key phrase:  "access to billing details".  Support on Twitter is akin to a chatbot, in an attempt to signpost you elsewhere that may or may not fix the issue in question.    You can tell them whatever you like, doesn't mean they'll be able to do anything with it.  Anything serious that requires intervention/manual processing you phone up and chase, not keep tweeting.
