II confirm takeover of EQi

I was wondering whether to move if II were expensive. But their online price list says £9.99 a month or £120 a year. So for a GIA with just 1 fund £100k buy and hold, no dealing fees, which would be my situation, that's about 0.1%. Looks reasonable. Or is there another platform fee or something else II charge on top I haven't seen?

Or if you don't want to pay the setup charge then Halifax Share Dealing's new ongoing charges are £36 pa but after 3 years it would have been cheaper to go with iWeb.If it's an ETF, IT, etc then consider Jarvis X-O who have no ongoing charge for a GIA.All that is assuming there really are no trades eg divi reinvestment as it accumulates.

Thanks. But I already use iWeb and don't want to hold everything on any one platform.Alexland said:Barry_Bear said:I was wondering whether to move if II were expensive. Decades ago I got free HBOS shares
then a few years later I was contacted and to say that Equiniti was dealing with them and I was given a website address where I could log in and check my share values, statements, dividend preferences etc etc
Will this news affect me then?

No, LBG shares will continue to be maintained via the Shareview portal, which is separate from EQi.ranciduk said:Decades ago I got free HBOS shares

My LISA transfer from Onefamily to EQi has just gone through, pretty smoothly I have to say. I would not be impressed if they sold back to Onefamily!1

The last change by ii in monthly fee for my accounts was to reduce it.ivormonee said:
They might eventually become nearly as expensive as Hargreaves Lansdown.moneysavinghero said:Looks like II will be increasing their monthly fee again to pay for this.
ii are much cheaper than HL or AJ Bell for me. The flat fee structure is cheaper once you reach a certain amount of investments.1 -
Does the Shareview portal fall under the control of Equiniti? My paperwork for the Lloyds shares I hold says Equiniti.eskbanker said:
