Splitting freeview/co ax signal

success !!! Had an amplifier from years ago. Connected (before the splitting and all 3 work now. ! Still fiddling with Fire stick. Thanks for all your input Xxx1

Final Q - does a fire stick need switching off after use ? (elec usage/fire precaution)0
-
I have mine permanently switched on mainly because the plug is behind something and awkward to get to, the amount of electric it uses is not worth bothering about, it has not self destructed yet.0

It goes to sleep after 20 minutes and you will get all the channels you want, even freeview.0

5 miles from Sutton Coldfield and 75 dBuV/m at 10 m agl (diffracted so not line of sight).
A passive splitter like https://www.toolstation.com/proception-wideband-tv-satellite-splitter/p16238 should work fine.
But as OP has fitted a low gain amplifier with good results all is well.0 -
Again thanks. Those splitters have different fittings, as for Sky etc. All my cables, etc have push on male/female fitings0

But adapters are available https://www.screwfix.com/p/labgear-f-plug-socket-10-pack/73805
It's also fairly simple fit a F-plug on a coax cable when the TV plug is cut off (but not all are willing to d-i-y). https://www.aerialsandtv.com/knowledge/how-to-attach-wire-up-plugs-aerials-and-wall-plates has a 'how to' section.0 -
As per Rodders cheap splitter works well , but i can see that transmitter from roof top .
