Cancel Three and move to Plusnet

I am trying to leave Three and go to Plusnet for my mobile - I am well out of any contract with Three and wanted to keep my number so last week sent a text to Three and they responded immediately with a PAC code which I filled in on the Plusnet site. Plusnet have sent me a SIM card and I believe the switch-over date is tomorrow, the 8th.
Thing is, I cannot find any way on the Three site to actually cancel my contract with them and cannot phone them as they seem to want to do everything online and there is no 'cancel my contract' option!
Any ideas? This is the first time I have changed providers like this as have been with Three for many many years...

If you have submitted your PAC to Plusnet as part of the application, then upon them actioning your PAC it will get 3 to generate a final bill and close the account, so don't cancel your 3 direct debit until the account has been finalised.
The actual porting of the number will take 24-48h and there is no specific time for when the cut over happens but you will know when it is in progress when you lose service on the previous 3 sim card. That's your cue to start using the new sim, and also on the new Plusnet sim there will be a temporary number, but do not worry as this will be overwritten by your previous number once it moves across. You may need to reboot your phone with the new Plusnet sim after the cutover so that it reregisters with the network and pulls down the new number.

Just be aware that if, for any reason, your number doesn't get carried over to your new Plusnet account then you should take further action to confirm that your account with Three has been cancelled.

There shouldn't be a problem but the process of taking your number with you with the pac is a surefire way of terminating your contract with Three.

For others who may read the post in the future, and not wish to port their number to a new network, you can always cancel a contract by texting STAC to 75075.
NB: this does not avoid your obligation to complete any minimum period on a contract and early termination charges may apply if you cancel during any minimum period.
