Afternoon folks. I did pop by earlier to wish REDRUBY a happy birthday and that was as far as I got! Today was my lovely dads birthday too but 109 years ago!! He was taken before his time and I still think of him and miss him every day. He was the loveliest man, with the patience of a saint, and always acted as peacemaker between me and my mum in one of our many arguments!
This has been the silliest day for one reason or another but all is calm now and my feet are up. DD called after lunch with some odd bits of shopping that were out of stock for my delivery tomorrow morning. Then DS and his DP came to drop off a bag of compost for me and we had a nice driveway chat. As we were chatting a police car came round the corner and I thought OMG we have been reported for having an against the rules garden meet up! Thankfully he kept driving up the hill!
I had a rubbish night last night and feel I can barely keep my eyes open now. Maybe a quick nap! I hope all went well with Mr Fixit's scan. But what a long wait for the results, ((HUGS)) NAN. Enjoy what remains of the day folks and take care x

Happy Birthday Ruby, hope you’ve had a lovely day.
Thinking of others especially Nan, Gers, dumpling, Marie and anyone else with worries.8 -
Very late, but I couldn't go without hoping that Ruby enjoyed her birthday and sending love to Gers, Nanny, Dumpling and anyone else who could do with a sympathetic hug.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Have trouble remembering how to fly.7
