2021 Budget. Self employed shafted again?

Am I the only one to notice this? If so he did a good job of missleading everyone.
So this weeks budget announces the Self Employed Income Support Scheme
grant has been extended for another 6 months up to september. That sounds good doesn't it?
For those that don't know, the SEISS has been paying a grant to self employed people of 80% of their average profit, to match the Furlough scheme for the employed who have not been able to work.
So that all sounds good doesn't it?
Well look at the details.
We have already had three SEISS grants paid every 3 months and there was another one already agreed and due any day now this march.
Well now the March payment is not happening and the next one will be in April (no 4) and then one July (no 5).
So the headline "SEISS extended for a further 6 months" actually translates to "there will be just ONE extra SEISS payment and that covers a 3 month period"
Who ever would have thought this present government could be so devious to claim they are giving you more than they actually are?

But why is there no outrage at this? Which is why I ask, have not many people noticed yet?

Most self employed are maybe grateful they got any help.7

It's 80% more than my son who got made redundant last Oct gets - be thankful you get something2

Self employed are also lucky the changes to national insurance to increase their contribution which Rishi talked alot about last April seems to have been forgotten. Probably balances out.

Being self employed is inherently higher risk than having the support bubble of an employer - to be honest I'm amazed they've received the support they have already.
NB: I am also self employed6 -
Loads of affected self employed have never been better off. Ie Local Joiner 20% down due to Covid. Full SEISS help.

For your statement "3 million excluded self employed " to hold true, there would have to be the large majority of self employed not covered by any of the support schemes. That is simply not credible.10 -

Where have they said "SEISS extended for a further 6 months" ?
The official government website says "An extension of the UK-wide Self Employment Income Support scheme to September 2021" which is factually correct because it has been extended to September. I haven't see the government say they are extending it for a "further 6 months".
Well if there was outrage at the government supporting self-employed people this much then that would be ridiculous. The amount of support the government has given out has been unprecedented and people should look at the positives instead of always looking at the negatives.
