look at ebac machinesThat's about all I would do with Ebac machines right now - look at them.Look on YouTube for reviews about them, particularly by whichwasher2007.

Amen to that! higher headline speeds often don't happen anyway as unless the load balances really well the machine will spin at a slower speed automatically anyway. If the machine does spin at the higher speed it causes far quicker bearing strain and wear. A good 1200 or 1400 spin machine is perfectly adequate. Bosch every time for me, with the current Ecosilence drive system they are really quiet and reliable.getmore4less said:Many over dose detergents needing the extra rinse.
For washer the drying efficiency % is an important factor if you use a dryer.
The more water the washer spins out the Les the dryer has to work.
NOTE: that is efficiency not spin speed.1 -
Consider getting a water softener installed. Better for all your appliances and also things like shower heads, hot water tank. Even if you already have scaled up appliances it will gradually descale them.Flash32 said:We have a Bosch washing machine and dishwasher. Both very reliable and we get very good results. If you are fussy about rinsing, there is an aqua-plus setting that works well. If you are really fussy, choose an additional rinse and spin after the main programme has finished. The only problem we've had in the 8 years we've had our Bosch washing machine is that we needed a heater replacement - but then we are in a very hard water area. No hesitation in recommending Bosch.1 -
Im after a washing machine and was considering a Samsung from John Lewis.0

Buy the one you like and can afford.....Reliability is a lottery. Most people will advise you to get whatever they have (coz it's the best
)
Just buy from somewhere with a good reputation that, maybe, gives a good warranty.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

My advice on washing machines is that it is worth paying for the old one to be removed as they are heavy to get rid of yourself but not to bother with installation services as it takes 5 minutes to do it yourself. Water pipe in, waste pipe out and plug into the mains. Job done.

As I said, reliability is a lottery (I also said most people)....My Bosch, at this moment in time is perfect. That said, it's only a year old, so, only time will tell....Stompa said:
