Santander desktop online banking 1/3/21 I cant log in! SOLVED!

    First thing I'd try is a different browser. If it still fails then could it be something to do with your internet connection and something like changing ip addresses - have you changed supplier recently or how you connect?

    You'e not using mobile broadband are you? I know someone recently posted they were being logged out fairly constantly from oonline banking using that.

    Similar problems - ongoing. Repeatedly have to clear cookies - all of them, so I lose the useful ones too. It's an intermittent problem and Santander can only advise clearing cookies when it happens. It's become so annoying I'm thinking of changing banks.

    Use the free version of ccleaner to clean your cookies. It allows you to keep cookies for certain sites.

    Which browser are you using? I find Chrome hopeless with Santander, but never had a problem yet in Edge. However, I generally use the Santander app (often several times daily but at least once daily), which lets me do 95% of everything I need to do and is way faster to use than their online banking.

    No, same broadband. It is working again today. Same broadband connection and IP which I had reset yesterday but wasn't working properly. This only happens with Santander and has been happening on and off ever since the change in login page from password to PIN. No, it is not related to browser or cookies, I have tried on the various combinations that were not working yesterday and they are all fine today. Strange.

    Who is your BB provider? I am on PlusNet w/o issues.

    Does the Santander app work for you on WiFi?

    And I use Santander for 5 different accounts on Chrome & never have any problems.
    BT broadband & win10.

    I tend to use the app. On my laptop, I have problems with Santander online banking using Chrome, but not with Firefox.
