With the forecasted announcement of a recovery / green bond from NS&I at what interest rate over let's say 3 years fixed would you be willing to buy into it? And at what rate do you think they will set it,given they have virtually no competition if they go near 1%

Maybe worth appending the question to the existing thread?

They might offer 1% but it would not tempt me for a three year fix. Although it is highly improbable, I would need 2% for three years.Yellowvest23 said:With the forecasted announcement of a recovery / green bond from NS&I at what interest rate over let's say 3 years fixed would you be willing to buy into it? The other thing you haven't mentioned if a maximum holding. It is possible that they would go for a limit of £3,000 per customer. That might allow a higher rate.2 -
Hello there. This is my first post. I just wondered if anyone had a clue /insight /hunch into when they might be available? Initially the site said ‘end of summer’ but that now says ‘later in 2021’. Hope they offer something decent now interest rates are creeping up.0

I would imagine that there would be an announcement during the Autumn Budget on 27 October (4 weeks today and a week before COP26).DeeSpare said:Hello there. This is my first post. Probably also, as suggested in the second reply to this thread back in March, looking at the pre-existing thread about this - which is here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6246161/ns-i-green-bondsDeeSpare said:Hello there. There was also a later thread in the summer when some sketchy 'details' were published:Zanderman said:
