A claim is what you do when you need the insurance to pay out e.g. if the person cannot work. If your dad had 3 claims on the policy, why does it matter? That is like if you crash your car 3 times in 30 years and your insurance pays out - that is what it is there for. The fact he had 3 claims, could be 0, could be 10, they are historic, why does it matter now - that will give people info they need to help you.0
