Received email from moneybox detailing their (slightly early...) cut-off dates for subscriptions to count towards 20/21 subscriptions. (Copied in excerpts from email below). Especially relevant for someone with lifetime ISA who wants to maximise bonus.
- The final opportunity to open an ISA or Lifetime ISA for the 2020-2021 tax year will be 12pm 30th March.
- The midday collection on Wednesday 31st March will be your final opportunity to contribute to a Moneybox ISA for the 2020-2021 tax year
- Any contributions made after midday on 31st March will count as 2021-22 contributions.
- Due to the Easter Bank Holidays, your money will likely leave your bank account on Wednesday 7th April - but don't worry, if it was collected from your green circle on Wednesday 31st March, it still counts towards the 20-21 tax year.
Please note, if you are transferring into a Lifetime ISA, we need to have received your transfer form by 31st March for your transfer to count for this tax year (2020-2021).
