[Deleted User] said:Hi there, I've been lurking here for a while. I love this thread. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the inspiration. I don't have a huge stash (just a small one) but I am in the habit of buying stuff that then sits unused for ages. As a result of this thread I am actually using products and being more choosy about what I would buy again. I've set myself a wee project pan list for March and beyond. Thanks again. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN5

For me, posting here has made me mindful of what I own. I've retrained myself to think that there will always be a sale or offer. The recent purchases that I have made have definitely saved me money though.INS - yesterday the QVC TSV arrived. I've sold the eye cream as it's not a favourite product but have now got from SkinSense: Neck and Decollete cream, Vitiamin C Complex, Day Cream and Night serum (to replace the Liz Earle Skin Repair that I usually use. Don't fancy trying the new formula).Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I sold 2 Clarins hand creams on eBay with a Clarins Feed makeup bag. I have too many hand creams to use and decided to sell these.
My local Boots has a recycling box for makeup items (with Maybelline), I have recycled a tube of Clinique City Block yesterday. It has been open for a long time and not much left in it.ally.7 -
Another UU : Liz Earler No 9 Botanical Essence. I love this and have a back up though don't want to use it yet as I want to get the three body sprays that I own done with. Today, I'm wearing a Ted Baker one which is half gone.

A few UUs from the past few days:
Childs Farm Baby Moisturiser 250ml - WDBA and probably will do in the future. Love this stuff, so cheap and effective, and there's no mineral oil in it
Nivea Pearl & Beauty 50ml - WDBA and probably will do, I like this, but I much prefer the Stress Protect version.
And a few INs from today:
Avene Thermal Spring Water 150ml
Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Face Fluid SPF50 50ml
Maui Moisture Hibiscus Water Shampoo 385ml
Maui Moisture Hibiscus Water Conditioner 385ml
A few essentials and a new product to try4 -

DD uses Childs Farm and really loves it too, she has eczema and the prescribed creams are thick and claggy but this one seems to be very light.

I am in the process of simplifying our home, I've been doing it for quite a long while and it really is a process, I keep going over the same areas every so often and find I can let more things go each time. I've been watching quite a few people on Youtube and one guy said the following statement which really resonated with me so I thought I would share:"The accumulation of physical possessions is not the greatest thing you can do with your life."If only I had realised this sooner

I’m on the same journey. I think lockdown has forced us to look at and move around our crap to make our spaces work and feel better.
