I currently have an iPhone 5 that I have had for years, I now need to replace it would like another iPhone, I am going down the refurbished route due to lack of money. I looked at Music Magpie and they have a iPhone SE on there for £169 it's in pristine condition, unlocked and had 32gb of memory, is that enough for someone who uses Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, listens to podcasts and takes the odd photo is the SE a newer phone than the 7 or 8 or should I look at one of those, I like my iPhone 5 because it's small enough to fit in my hand easily and I don't like big phones. It's now obsolete though and playing up so needs
Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,329.1 Owed = £11,300

The iPhone SE (original version) will become obsolete later this year according to reports. The second version would be a better bet.1

If you are taking after your username and quoting "lack of money" and this is the MSE site, maybe you ought to consider a cheaper phone - plenty of new Android smartphones for less than your budget

The reply thats been deleted wasnt rude, you use whichever format your happy with, in this case its Apple. If £169 is your budget then gp flr that SE from music magpie.1

How re-furbished is refurbished. A phone that's several years old might have a limited battery life unless it's been replaced, is it capable of accepting the latest updates or is there a limit to what it can accommodate.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't but I for one would rather have a new phone which is likely to have a warranty and a life that hopefully would be a bit longer than one that's already several years old (unless it was ever so cheap) Just my opinionNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1 -
Look at Giffgaff refurbished phones, we and friends have bought and been very happy.
They have the SE for £69. I have one and it does everything I want and is quite robust, been dropped a few times and screen still intact.
