Streaks of white paint on the pavement outside my house

My neighbour was sweeping outside her house and spilt white paint. She poured water over it and now it’s left white streaks on the pavement outside my house. I poured hot water yesterday and today but the streaks still there.
Shall I phone the council to see if they can sent someone out?

If it's only an eyesore and not slippery then to be honest, I would ignore it and not bother the council.
Many councils don't have enough funding to keep the highways and byways in reasonable condition let alone excess funds for sending people out to clean paint streaks off a pavement.
With people walking over it and general weathering, it will eventually fade or get discoloured enough so it will probably be unnoticeable.5 -
I’m not sure but it looks awful, my neighbour had bailiffs calling on her in the morning and she was in a bad mood in the afternoon. She is single mum with 4 kids age from 25 to 10.[Deleted User] said:Slips36 said:Shall I phone the council to see if they can sent someone out?Hi,is it an emergency? What kinda paint was it, oil or water based?

Normally I would not bother but I’m selling my house and don’t want to put viewers off.George_Michael said:If it's only an eyesore and not slippery then to be honest, I would ignore it and not bother the council.

The council are unlikely to do anything.
A relative called his local council to see if he could pay to have graffiti removed which someone had spray painted onto his brick wall.
Because it wasn't offensive, they said that they were not able to do it - too busy with essential stuff.
Not entirely sure what the relevance of bailiffs and single parent information is?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -

What has her being a single mum with 4 kids got to do with it?Slips36 said:

I don't think the council will be interested. But in the ability to sell your house and not put anyone off - I'd hire someone with a pressure washer to come over and blast it all away. You'd probably pay a few pounds to do it - but that would make you feel better in terms of selling the house rather than stewing over it.Slips36 said:

Take a small amount of soil and tip in over the paint smears then rub it well in with your shoes.
It won't get rid of the paint but it will probably make it look far older and it won't stand out as much.1
