Formatting a hard drive won't prevent a tech-savvy person from retrieving all the information on it. You really need to use a reputable programme which will overwrite the data multiple times. https://eraser.heidi.ie/ is one (free) example, but there many others.Boohoo said:As for the other pc did you format the hard drive or drives before sending it to the buyer?

Hi, it's not Ebay, it's a network problem. When your local connection drops it reconnects with the nearest available, Ebay flags it up as signing in from a different location. It's occurring more and more often lately, you might also start to receive messages saying that 'a network change is detected'.0
