new ebay login

I got an e-mail today around 2pm. it said there was a new login on my account from a new device which I didn't recognize from wiltshire (300 miles away) at 13:50.
I logged on, found there was a new watched item which was definitely not me, and a whole host of previously viewed similar items.
so I have now changed my password, but whats the score here? anybody know?

Did you also check everything else eg has your address changed, linked paypal etc etc. Looks like someone had found / guessed your ebay password.

Do you use that same password for any other apps/websites? The one that's been compromised? If so - you need to go change all those too..

Take no notice of the login location, mine varies from as little as 12 miles away or as much as 175 miles
away. Depends on the ISP and where they route your connection.

Just checked and it seems I am in Salisbury today. It was Newcastle Upon Tyne last week.

Did you click on any links in the email you opened or did you open up a new browser window for Ebay login?

another message today about new activity on my other eBay account, login location Enfield this time.
I normally don't take much notice of the location but it's generally in the north of England where I am, Wiltshire and London seems to be a bit far away?
I think it might have something to do with me selling my old PC on eBay, just checked and surprise surprise it was posted to Warminster :/ . Obviously I did delete everything from it, but it would seem not well enough

If you have changed your password on Ebay yesterday how come you got an email from Ebay telling you about new activity today?
Does that email tell you time of this new activity?
I cant see how the old pc can still log into your Ebay account ok with your new password that you changed yesterday.

    i have 2 ebay accounts
Did you change both account passwords?
As for the other pc did you format the hard drive or drives before sending it to the buyer?
You could try and get hold of person you sold the pc to and ask them if they have access to your Ebay account. I can't see how they can if the drive or drives were formatted
