I can't understand what has happened to Allianz Technology Trust plc.  I went to check the share price this morning and it has gone down from £29+ per share to about £2.90 per share. 

Please does anyone know what is going on with this?

I haven't received any communications from the company, so can't understand what has happened.

You should have received communications some time ago.  Allianz Technology Trust has revalued its shares so you now have 10 times as many at 1/10th the cost.

I do hope they issue me with a new share certificate.

If you hold the shares directly in your own name. Then do they have your correct address? As you should be receiving shareholder communications. 

The share certificate I have is still in the name of RCM Technology Trust.

Are they still held on certificate? Or have they been moved into electronic form? Which might mean all notifications are electronic too?

Assuming the registrar has the correct address the OP should soon receive a new, updated certificate. After you've received it, be sure to bin this old one. They cause enough confusion to living holders let alone executors.

Btw, company name changes don't always trigger new/updated certificates so it might not be a problem that you still have one in the old name.

Have now received a new share certificate and my address was correct, so can’t understand why I didn’t know about this split.
