The main dealer will always be 2, 3 or 4 times more expensive than the large motor factors or eBay. A camshaft sensor for my car was £20 from a reputable supplier on eBay, £100 from the dealer. It was the same part from the same manufacturer.

I had to replace the cat on my pug 208 after only 40000 miles. Fortunately it was covered on my extended warranty. The cat should last 100k miles easily. So this is possibly a manufacture defect. Is yours a 3 pot engine?0

no. mine is a 4 cylinder hdi diesel. its 5 yrs old and only done 32k. for a vehicle that doesn't really have a hard life, is regularly maintained and serviced, £2k seems out of order really.Deleted_User said:I had to replace the cat on my pug 208 after only 40000 miles.
