Yours is up on the ramp and they can charge what they want. What else will you do?
I got one one from here when I needed one. https://www.cats2u.co.uk/3617-20080 -
Quite possibly not genuine parts. There are a lot of parts I've found which on first glance appear correct but on closer look may have an extra digit at the end. Means they can get away with selling copies.

genuine parts are now all on order for next week. ebay is fine for certain things. but with this it needs to be right first time.0

Might even have been nicked off a car ,plenty of vidios on youtube /facebook about gangs going round stealing them.ITS NOT EASY TO GET EVERYTHING WRONG ,I HAVE TO WORK HARD TO DO IT!0

they cant be nicked of cars. this type of cat is what's known as close coupled which means the cat is bolted to the manifold with nuts and studs. so with out getting under the bonnet with specialist tools it can't be done.
the other reason they are not nicked is they are in the ebay picture, shrink wrapped with peugeot part number and logo on them.
having said that I have not ordered from these people, because if its wrong, imagine the aggro trying to return it. if the peugeot one is wrong, they get on to the factory and find out why. and get the correct one.0 -
So you have answered your own question.0

yes indeed. but as I originally stated I don't understand how someone can sell something on ebay for £300 that is normally £1k. it can't be right some how.0
