Water company Permission [SELF-CERTIFICATION APPLICATION] to build over/ close to a public sewer

Hi the project is a private property, connecting a new drainage pipe to the existing private property drainage (not the neighbours) but our private property, and the method to notify the water company (Seven trent)
EDIT:
Here is what we doing
On the front driveway (where cars are parked) a new drain is to be being installed underground (using a 150mm pipe), to take away the excessive rainwater (surface water) and this collection will be done with a new pipe, which will connect to a new drain chamber, which will have a new manhole on the top. (so connecting a New pipe to the existing private surface water pipe, which is already underground)
these are All private pipes (our own). but it then this current private pipe goes into and connects into the neighbours surface water piple, so becomes a 'public' drain. so we will be building NEAR a public drain. But then again, it is Not really near the public sewer.

When you apply to a water company /( Seven Trent) to build a Private connection,
you can apply with an application form, where their water /sewer planning people come and have a look (I think)
or
you can apply yourself using something called a Self Certification application, where you fill out a simple questionaire, and send it online, with a fee. Seven Trents fee is £65
and the form says

Remember, this form is for:
• Works at single domestic property
• Involving pipes of 150mm diameter or less
this Self Certification application is a quick way to apply for permission, to start your work to join your existing pipe to a new pipe (on your private property) - connecting to the Private sewer.
Does anyone have experience of this?
How many days does it take?
and as long as you tick all the boxes, then do they most likely accept your application, when you apply.?
The same can apply to other water companies, who offer Self Certification application.
Have you applied for this [Self Certification application] ? what was your experience?
Can this private water drain connection be done without their notification, without telling them? or this can cause problems in the future? if so, what possible problems can arise in the future for keeping this a secret?

What are you doing? I can't gather what you're attempting? You've got the form for a build over agreement but are talking about connecting onto the sewer, from what I gather. They're two different things.Could you tell us in plain English and in the first person?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The last 1m before it becomes public could trigger a BOA. Can’t navigate ST’s website as well but Thames Water’s advice would be similar...

(This new pipe of ours will join onto this neigbours underground joining pipe, 'once' it crosses our boundary onto theirs.
When it crosses our pipe boundary onto the neighbours, (underground - which theirs' already exists) then is the neighbours pipe classified as a Public drain? (which is on their driveway)
or 'when' it comes off their driveway then only does it become a public drain ?No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -
DevilDamo, would this be Seven Trents version?

And a question on Page 5 of that above document (in my link above)
It states, a Tick for
Manholes, inspection chambers or rodding eyes within extensions or within 500mm of an extension
a) When they say 'within' extensions, then do them mean inside the extension? (like inside the house?) or within the area to be extended, including outside? but an extension is usually inside?
and again if from that above link, if you read page 5, which has a tick on Manholes, inspection chambers or rodding eyes within extensions or within 500mm of an extension, then question b)
b) if we are doing a manhole, and inspection chamber (our new drainage pipe will join the current drainage pipe, like a T junction point, which will be by installing an inspection chamber and manhole lid cover.
for this, will the Self Certification application suffice?
or will we have to apply for the main application submission form /process to seven trent?
which is a more lengthly and costly process compared to the Self Certification application

You do appear to be making this a lot more complicated than it needs to be.
To self-certify, you need to go through the online process. As I only have experience with Thames Water’s process, if you can answer all the self-certify questions correctly, you’ll be told at the end whether the proposals qualify. Otherwise, you’ll be told you require a formal Build Over Agreement.1 -
Just saw sewermen, who has seen that, would anyone here do that job, and I know somebody has to do it lol.
I would think most of the water boards across the uk have similar rules regarding building next to their sewage pipes as eventually does the Uk sewage all go to one place?0
