Flights from Mexico to US are operating, the process to getting on a flight is:
Pay for a test (£20 in Mexico), leave test area and await result via email, upload your info with photo to an app, upload negative test and details of where it was done to app, fill in flight data on app, send flight data and test result to airline via another app, await for airline to respond with approval to fly.
Then you can go to the airport where all this info is checked. No approval, no fly.

Is this a valid process for UK passport holders, and how does it correspond with the requirement for an ESTA or visa..?daveyjp said:Flights from Mexico to US are operating, the process to getting on a flight is:

You have to have been in Mexico, or at least outside the UK/Europe for 14+ days.
If interested this YouTube video posted at the weekend shows how the process works. He is a UK citizen who has been in Mexico for two weeks and flew MEX-MIA.

Word of warning, watching the cotton bud inserted about five inches up the man's nose in the video was not a pleasant experience.2 -

As long as cruising starts from Miami in December we're off. I'm a US citizen and as my spouse my OH is allowed to enter the country with me.
Reverse arrangement meant I was allowed into Portugal last week when US citizens aren't allowed anything but essential travel to there. As my OH is British I was allowed in, lovely holiday in Vilamoura ensued.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
August 6th 2021 .
British airways flights booked last year .
Edinburgh to miami then up to tampa . A lot cheaper that way .
BA have told me today the miami to tampa flight has been cancelled and i can have a refund if i want . 8 flights a day on a 40 minute flight .
Are they trying with 7 weeks to go before flight to shut themselves down .0 -
Alfmurph, I think they might be hinting you should cancel your trip. You won't be allowed on the plane in the first place, as the US banned travellers from the UK from travelling last March and despite the meeting last week between Joe and Boris, there was no agreement to restart travel1

Just had my august trip to miami cancelled by british airways .
The big problem is usa does not recognise the astra zeneca jab as they have not applied for a licence in usa so anyone getting this vaccine is not going anyway .
My wife got pfizer and i got astra zenecca so that is our first problem . Maybe if i get the pfizer booster in september it will help .0
