it's a string of tiny, numbered christmas stockings, just big enough for a chocolate each day!

Oh, don't, there are striped elf style socks with bells on somewhere in DD's pit - I don't think I could cope with the Pup if she remembers those! On the other hand - some of Snag's Xmas special edition tights are quite tempting

Achievements for today - Nectar points have made it over £100 for the year thanks to the build up to Christmas bonuses, and the £3 for the TV survey landed in my account. I couldn't work out what it was to start with, but tomorrow it can be added to this month's mortgage OP - I think it's just about a third of a day's interest!

Also went to Sainsbys to make the most of the 25% off six bottles of wine deal. 12 bottles, which will see us through Christmas, and the total discount (including bottles that were already reduced and ones which obviously crop up in my basket a little too often, because I had bonus points on offer) was . . . £29.70 off the original total of £902014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8563

Oh well done on the wine!I’ve gone for a bokashi bin for the compost rather than a hot bin- I couldn’t quite justify it! We do pay for garden waste collections though as we’d never compost enough to get rid of the lawn clippings. We also need to offer the free leaf collection service to the local council to get a store of browns!MFW 2021 #76 £5,145

Not quite the end of the month, but the mortgage is paid today, so here's the round up for the month:
- Mortgage: £116,753
Total OP for the month was £464- OP Reserve (EF): £11965
- S&S ISA: £5,620
- SIPP: £1,768 (not bad since I only started it in June)
- Nectar points (Christmas treat fund) £105.18
- Populus £15 ( very slim pickingsthis month)
I have had a little shuffle around with the S&S ISA to rebalance and address some of the more cautious investments I made when I opened it. I'm also considering altering the balance a little between the OPs, SIPP, and ISA, with the balance moving more to the SIPP. At my current rate of OP, the mortgage will finish just before my 60th (seven years early), but the balance in the last couple of years will be so low that I could decide pay it off anyway from savings, or TFLS from my DB pension.
