Yeah, if they are using a PC anyway, just use something like Slack.
  • Do both PC’s have internet access?...if ‘yes’ use email with ‘notifications’ enabled for incoming mail,... or am I being too simplistic?

If no email and you are both in the same office but spaced well apart perhaps use a megaphone or two tin cans and a suitable length of string,...both of which are quicker than typing.

Click the link and find out ;)

  • We're using Slack - it all seems very good!  Thanks.
  • I record every meeting I have and then if I need to go through it afterwards I can. Ethics wise it is fine and legal to do this as long as you don't share whart the person has said with any one else, or play the recording to anyone else. Unless they are owning up to something illegal. But f you want to use their words against them, say they were bullying you, the only person you can show the reocrdings to is a lawer.

Really?  You can record audio conversations in Slack?

Well and truly into the 21st century,...smart phone and Slack within a day or so!  Your colleagues head must be in a spin. Good outcome.

P.S. Are the people who use Slack known as slackers?  :D

  • No but they are called Alice... :)
