Hi just wanted to let you know they have paid out.  No letter nothing just paid the money into our account - so good news.  Thank you for your advice.

If it was on the back of a complaint or S75 claim you will get a letter about the payment.
If not them it could be a chargeback, which you have to be aware can be rejected even if co is no longer trading. 45 days for company to reject, but can take a lot longer before you find out.
