Morning all! We are approaching the end of the week at last! And I have Monday off to spend the day with hubby as he is working all weekend, so a long weekend for me.
I have used my Amazon vouchers to order a usb switcher so I can easily switch to using my own laptop from my work one. I have quite a good set up in the office and both my laptops are on risers and are either side of my big monitor screen. It's a bit like a budget Minority Report
Anyhooo... £1 PAD sent to CC7 this morning, and budget updated. No Prolific studies as yet this morning, but I am expecting the last cash out to hit Paypal at some point so then I will be making an additional PAD, I can't bring myself to send the odd pence to CC7 now though as it makes the balance look messy!
For those who have been here for the long term, I have had some memories on Faceache lately of the run up to our move... I cannot begin to describe the difference in my stress levels from that point to where I am now! This morning's memory was when I had packed up all of the glassware and then opened a bottle of wine...1st world problems eh?
So, in 2 days it will be a whole year since we moved and I love it here so much! Our neighbours are fab, it's so lovely to back onto woods and the amount of birds and squirrels I end up watching out of the window is amazing. Plus, we have so much room compared to our old terraced house.
Enough of my drivel... have wonderful days guys!

Happy Friday!
No sign of the Prolific payment on Paypal as yet, but once it's through I will send all the whole £'s to CC7. PAD made of £1 to CC7 this morning, I had a look at my latest statement yesterday and it's quite good to see the long list of payments listed on there and no spending (whoop)
Today will be another NSD for me, which will be my 7th for July. I am not going anywhere and we have all we need in stores for dinner tonight - slow cooker bolognese. I'm meeting friends for lunch tomorrow so will be a bit spendy. It looks to be a glorious day so I should be able to get the washing done, I reckon a good couple of loads will dry today.
I sold another bag on Vinted last night, so i'm going to pop out at lunch and post that. A bit of money to pop aside for my holiday spendsAll seems to be going OK at the moment, but I've probably just jinxed myself!
Hope everyone has a great Friday

Well done on the vinted sale! I agree its good to see a long list of payments on the CC statement rather than amounts being added to the total.
Have a good weekend especially for tomorrow meeting your friends, hopefully it will be lovely and sunny!

Technically, I could pay to get it below £7k now, but the end of this month is really spendy and next month I need holiday spending money so I don’t want to leave myself short.Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25711

A bit of an evening update from me, it's been a really productive day. Not only have I reached the mythical 'bottom of the laundry basket' but also I have done 4 prolific studies throughout the day. So, I have just under £5 approved and another £4 pending. This Prolific stuff is making me regret not persevering with the profile questions a few years ago! (I'm an idiot for not seeing it through) £21 cashed out already in 10 days with another £10 waiting...
I still can't believe we will have been in this house a whole year tomorrow, it's flown.
