    Happy house anniversary.

We are over 3 years in ours now and it still feels like yesterday 😀

Still sometimes end up wondering how we got so lucky…. According to Zoopla it’s also increased in value by £44k since we bought it too.  Although that only works if we sell, which we won’t!

  • Good morning all - what a lovely morning it is! Good weather always makes me cheery :)

£1 PAD sent to CC7 this morning and my budget has been updated.  Today won't be a NSD for me as I'm out for lunch but tomorrow I am doing jobs in the garden as the path needs a jet wash so I won't be venturing out to spend...  Cooking a nice meal for hubby tonight, and probably pop a bottle of prosecco too to mark the house-iversary.

Had an email from Clearscore this morning that my credit score has gone up, 2 hard searches from when we moved in (utilities) have dropped off, although not sure why they would be on for a full year and not 6 months? Hey-ho. Anyway my score is now 894 and the average for our area is 580 so I feel like I'm smashing it :D

Also I have been able to cash out another £5.65 from Prolific so that should hit Paypal by Wednesday next week, another £5 off the CC7 there - whoop!

Going to do a bit of mad-tidy round now in case any of my friends want to come back for coffee after lunch, at least that will save me a chore tomorrow and means more time in the garden :)

Hope you all have a fab Saturday!

Not surprised. It reckons ours has gone up almost £100k since we bought it in 2019 which ties in with what others have been selling for.

Absolutely mad. But we don't intend to sell so its all pretty irrelevant 😀

House prices remain a great mystery to me. Pretty sure I couldn’t afford my current house if I was trying to buy it now. All to do with supply and demand I guess but still seems very strange.Keep those payments coming LMD. You’ll soon be under the 7k mark.

  • Thanks @Antomac, I hope so!

Morning all! I'm all set for my day in the garden, I will be getting out the bluetooth speaker and listening to some tunes whilst I work.

I have sent £1 to CC7 this morning and it will be another NSD for me, I am on leave tomorrow and not sure of the plans yet so it may or may not be another tomorrow, who knows?

I had a lovely lunch out yesterday, with a few glasses of wine. The total spend including travel was less than £35 so not bad at all really, especially as it's been a while since we have met up and we had a lot to catch up on!

That's all on the updates, hope everyone is doing OK?

We are the same. We definitely couldn't afford our house now.

    Madness really.
  • An evening update to report that I’ve done a successful MSE-thing…

yesterday when I was grocery shopping I noticed that our usual anchor spreadable had gone up to £4.25 for a tub! Well, we get through a lot with me working at home and hubby taking pack up so I got some of the Tesco equivalent to try.

This evening I tried it and I’m pleased to say I actually think it tastes better :) - a little win I think!

I am so glad I went off butter and margarine when I was 5. No idea why but saves me a fortune 🤣

Great news on finding an alternative that’s cheaper and better.
